About the Role
The Payroll Specialist will manage bi-weekly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all tax and wage regulations. This includes calculating wages, deductions, and garnishments, maintaining payroll records, and supporting employees with payroll-related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and process employee timesheets (electronic or manual).
- Enter and verify payroll data in the system accurately.
- Calculate wages, benefits, deductions, garnishments, and payroll taxes.
- Prepare and process paychecks, direct deposits, and cash deposits.
- Maintain accurate and organized payroll documentation.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations.
- Support audits, reporting, and payroll-related projects as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
