Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • 13-week contract assignment

    • \n

  • Day shift from 6 : 00 AM to 6 : 30 PM

    • \n

  • Also works 6 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM shifts

    • \n

  • Call requirements with rotating weekend call schedule

    • \n

  • Cardiovascular experience required

    • \n

  • Will float to pre-op on occasion

    • \n

  • 1 : 1 patient ratios in 5-bed PACU unit

    • \n

  • Work with GE monitors and Meditech EMR system

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS

    • \n

  • Must demonstrate strong assessment and critical thinking skills

    • \n

  • Preferred qualifications : Critical care experience and PACU experience

    • \n

  • Typical procedures include cardioversion, recovery care, EKGs, assessments, and patient education

    • \n

  • Navy scrubs required

    • \n

  • Ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative

    • \n

  • Work with 3-4 RNs per shift depending on case schedule

    • \n\n

    This specialized cardiac hospital focuses exclusively on cardiovascular care and procedures. The facility features a dedicated 5-bed PACU unit on the first floor with modern GE monitoring equipment and utilizes Meditech EMR systems. The hospital maintains high standards of cardiac care with experienced staff and offers opportunities for professional growth in cardiovascular nursing specialties.
