Manager Crew Relations
The Manager Crew Relations is responsible for providing human resource tools and data to influence effective leadership and engage crewmembers in their assigned areas. The tools include : performance management process, effective off boarding process, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) investigation process, crewmember involvement programs, administration and crewleader education. The data includes scores from Speak Up surveys, focus groups results, audit results, turnover and performance evaluations. The Manager partners with site leadership in HR strategy alignment and implementation. The Manager facilitates change and ensures that core HR processes are delivered in a fashion consistent with HR strategies and departmental needs.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Guides departmental leadership on the HR effectiveness of local leadership and the status of crewmember engagement at the local level
- Oversees talent management including performance management plan, competencies, and succession planning at the local level
- Works collaboratively with Director and peers to develop, coordinate, integrate and consistently implement HR tools and programs tailored to the departmental needs
- Assists the corporate People department in the design and implementation of personnel policies and procedures and effectively communicates and employs these policies and procedures at the support center. Communication may include developing and facilitating training sessions, which may include, but not be limited to, Orientation support, Just Culture and Event Investigations, New Leader Assimilations and Respectful Workplace
- Facilitate the succession planning processes within departments with a focus on achieving diversity and creating developmental plans for a high performing, productive team
- Responsible for adhering to HR budget
- Conduct investigations and provides recommendations in response to crewmember concern(s), including harassment and other forms of alleged inappropriate workplace behavior
- Oversees employment review process which includes documentation protocol and recommendations
- Takes a significant role in the development of crewmembers to support their engagement, growth, and goal achievement
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications :
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) DiplomaFive (5) years of experience in Human Resources OR five (5) years of leadership experienceProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacyExcellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically and creatively when resolving issues and concernsExcellent verbal and non-verbal communication skillsAvailable for overnight travel (25%)Must be in possession of valid travel documents with the ability to travel in and out of the United StatesMust pass a pre-employment drug testMust be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is locatedAuthorization to work in the US is required. The base pay range for this position is between $80,000.00 and $136,200.00 per year.
