Warehouse & Facilities Assistant
Position Summary :
The Warehouse & Facilities Assistant supports the Facility Manager in daily operations, ensuring smooth order processing with writing up orders, answering phone calls, accurate pricing, timely pulling of materials, and excellent customer service during pickups, assisting the facility manager. This role combines warehouse support, order management, and customer-facing responsibilities to help maintain an efficient and professional facility.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and write up customer and internal orders accurately.
Assist with pricing of certain orders as directed.
Pull, stage, and organize orders for pickup and delivery.
Greet and assist customers at the pickup area, ensuring orders are correct and complete.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Track inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the Facility Manager.
Support vendor deliveries and coordinate placement of incoming materials.
Assist the Facility Manager with day-to-day facility needs and special projects.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in assisting in warehouse, logistics, or facilities support preferred.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with staff, vendors, and customers.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Basic computer skills (order entry, spreadsheets, email).
Ability to lift and move materials safely (up to 50 lbs. )
