You're enthusiastic about tackling complex challenges and can distill them into actionable solutions. You prioritize writing clean, readable, and testable code, while understanding the importance of pragmatism. Empowered Engineers : Beyond task execution, you're encouraged to influence both what we build and how we build it, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field involving coding (e.g., physics or mathematics), or equivalent technical experience. 5+ years as a cloud engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable cloud solutions. Experience in designing and implementing scalable and high-performance public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. Knowledge of networking, security, and compliance principles in cloud environments. Proficiency with modern infrastructure such as code technologies and containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform. Terraform knowledge and experience required. Knowledge of and experience with microservices architecture. Proficient scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash). Experience with software development methodologies including Agile, Kanban, and Scrum. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges. Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Relevant certifications such as Google Professional Cloud Architect, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, etc. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI / CD). Prior experience in a product focused technology team desired. Experience in guiding engineering teams and influencing technical decisions. The Role
As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be a key member of our engineering team, playing a crucial role in the design and implementation of scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions to support our product offerings. Your expertise in cloud infrastructure will be instrumental in driving technical excellence across the team.
This role can work onsite or remotely, with occasional onsite for Breakthrough Week and Engineering Days.
