DescriptionAmazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience to own strategic, tactical, cross-functional and technology projects and programs across multiple verticals.

This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process / product changes.

Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will leverage extensive project management experience, combined with deep analytical capabilities and a keen sense of innovation, to lead complex projects from conception to completion.

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to effectively manage the creation and enhancement of our supply chain and transportation networks.

In this role, you will scope large projects, track project timelines, and develop mechanisms for communicating status, risk, and business challenges.

The ideal candidate must be adept at cross-team coordination, project management, and data analysis, with a proven history of delivering results.Key job responsibilities

  • Supply chain, transportation, or logistic network management solution experience
  • Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
  • Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
  • Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
  • Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
  • Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
  • Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
  • Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
  • Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.

As part of this team you would work on program management for an exciting initiative in middle mile transportation organization.

You will regularly interact with executive leadership and work with Product and Tech teams to lead your business and act as vertical lead.

You’ll work in a fast paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains.

As a multi-discipline leader, the buck will stop with you - you will work alongside product, tech and engineering (dev and test) organization.

AZIM Equipment Management is a challenging space. We influence in the form OpEx reduction, CapEx reduction, and sunk cost optimization.

This role specifically focuses on OpEx reduction and the $550MM spent on empty transportation equipment one-way repositioning (TPA & CPA).

You will work closely with NBEO to ensures that transportation equipments (IM containers) are at the right place, at the right time, and do it at the lowest cost by automating repositioning, managing equipment in-out flows (network balance), and influencing upstream scheduling, route planning and resource planning systems with the cost of equipment repositioning.

The base pay for this position ranges from $92,500 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000 / year in our highest geographic market.

Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
