Job Summary
The Enrollment Management Communications Intern will support the enrollment team in developing, implementing, and evaluating communication strategies designed to attract, engage, and retain prospective students throughout their enrollment journey. This role offers hands-on experience in higher education marketing, digital communications, and student recruitment while contributing to meaningful projects that directly impact institutional enrollment goals.
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Marketing Support - 70%
Assist in developing compelling content for various communication channels including social media, email campaigns, website updates, and print materials
Help create and edit recruitment materials such as brochures, flyers, and digital presentations
Support the production of video content, photography coordination, and graphic design projects
Contribute to content and initiatives that highlight student experiences and academic programs
Data Analysis & Research - 20%
Help track and analyze communication metrics including open rates, click-through rates, and engagement statistics
Assist with market research on competitor institutions and industry best practices
Support survey development and data collection efforts related to prospective student preferences
Help maintain and utilize Slate (CRM)
Other - 10%
Complete other duties as assigned by the Associate Director of Communications & Marketing
Required Qualifications

Student enrolled in at least six credit hours as an undergraduate student at Georgia College
Currently enrolled at GCSU in an undergraduate program in Mass Communications, Rhetoric, English, Marketing, or related field
Other Required Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing concepts
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
