General Summary

This position is responsible for planning, developing, coordinating and managing onsite construction engineering activities for construction projects varying in size to ensure quality and cost effectiveness. Support includes identifying needs, developing resources and implementing preconstruction processes tailored to the needs of the procurement at the project level to ensure proper execution. Support is throughout the project life cycle (pursuit, preconstruction and construction) and predominately, but not exclusively, on alternative procurement projects. Alternative procurement projects include Design-Build (DB), Construction Manager / General Construction (CMGC), Construction Management At-Risk (CMAR), General Contractor / Construction Manager (GCCM) and Progressive Design-Build (PDB).

Essential Job Accountabilities

• Manage job controls to ensure compliance with contract, budget, schedule, forecasting and job costing.
• Develop and maintain preconstruction and project schedule to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
• Support the project team in review of project's prime contract, supporting documents, schedules, and budget as well as the agreement with the designer (including the design schedule and design budget) to ensure compliance and preparation of efficient execution throughout all phases of the project.
• Work with Senior project managers to develop, maintain, and manage project budgets for preconstruction support.
• Manage project engineering assignments to ensure work is completed on time and under budget.
• Manage project engineering activities to ensure compliance with company, contract and schedule requirements.
• Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, resolution and documentation of design conflicts, and constructability reviews to ensure successful job completion.
• Develop, implement and administer project engineering procedures and other work controlling documents to ensure clarification of roles.
• Represent company, project and / or department during client and project management meetings to ensure effective communication.
• Develop and maintain all job reporting and logs to ensure project compliance.
• Supervise, direct, and mentor project staff to ensure individual development and that project standards are met.

Base Salary Range : $110,611.00 - $165,915.00

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
