Registered Nurse Neuro Trauma

Job Description

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

Unit Details

Our neuro med-surg unit focuses on providing care for patients with neurological and medical-surgical conditions. This unit often handles cases involving stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, and other neurological disorders, alongside general medical-surgical patients.

• Stroke Certified Program
• Bariatric Certified Program
• 28 bed Neuro / Trauma / Med-Surg unit
• Works closely with Neurologist, Neurointerventionalist, Trauma Team, ICU, and Hospitalist
• Multidisciplinary patient centered treatment
• Foster a strong sense of team work and camaraderie, which provides a supportive environment

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$35.70 - $52.25
