Onsite in Culver City from Day 1

Hybrid Schedule : 3 Onsite Days (Tue, Wed, Thur) & 2 Remote Days (Mon, Fri)

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Contract Systems Administrator to support the daily operations, administration, and optimization of our Mobile Device Management

(MDM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) platforms. This role will be responsible for maintaining system health, executing operational tasks, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth end-user experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in Jamf and Oomnitza, a solid understanding of IT lifecycle management,and experience with enterprise-scale device administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • MDM Administration
  • Manage, configure, and support enterprise MDM solutions with a primary focus on Jamf Pro.
  • Perform device enrollment, policy updates, app deployment, and compliance monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve device connectivity, configuration, and policy enforcement issues.
  • ITAM Operations
  • Maintain accurate asset records using Oomnitza, including hardware, software, and licensing.
  • Track lifecycle events (procurement, deployment, reallocation, retirement) for IT assets.
  • Assist with asset audits, reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Systems Support & Maintenance
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability; escalate issues as needed.
  • Implement and document operational processes, runbooks, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Security, Infrastructure, and Service Desk teams to ensure aligned operations.
  • Projects & Improvements
  • Assist with system upgrades, integrations, and process automation initiatives.
  • Provide technical input on tool enhancements and workflow optimizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in systems administration with Jamf Pro (Jamf 200 certification required; Jamf 300 or higher strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Oomnitza for IT asset management.
  • Strong understanding of device lifecycle management, patching, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with macOS, Windows, iOS, and / or Android device management.
  • Experience generating reports and performing data analysis in MDM / ITAM tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to document technical procedures.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Jamf 300 or Jamf 400 certification.
  • Scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell, or Python) for automation.
  • ITIL knowledge or certification.

    The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
