We are looking for a skilled Production Revenue Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. This role involves managing revenue-related tasks for operated properties and ensuring compliance with state severance tax regulations. Responsibilities :

• Compile and record revenue data for operated properties, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Land Administration to update revenue decks and address ownership changes.
• Prepare and process monthly and quarterly state severance tax returns, including North Dakota and Montana filings.
• Reconcile severance tax payable accounts for oil and gas properties to ensure proper reporting.
• Manage revenue account receivables for oil and gas purchasers, ensuring timely reconciliations.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP, to analyze and organize financial data.
• Work with software platforms such as Excalibur and Quorum to streamline accounting processes.
• Conduct detailed analyses of revenue reports to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Support division transfers by ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
• Maintain thorough documentation of accounting processes and reconciliations.
