Job Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead development within Acrisure's Wholesale Applications and Palantir Platform ecosystem. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader passionate about building and scaling enterprise systems at the intersection of data, underwriting, and automation.

You'll oversee a small but high-impact team of engineers responsible for designing data-driven workflows, APIs, and integrationsparticularly leveraging Palantir Foundry to drive insights and decision-making across wholesale underwriting and broking operations. You'll partner closely with product, data, and business stakeholders to define the roadmap, ensure delivery excellence, and shape the technical vision for Acrisure's Palantir-enabled wholesale platform.

This is a hybrid position with an expected on-site presence of 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers building scalable back-end services and data integrations using Python, TypeScript, and Palantir Foundry.
• Own the roadmap for Palantir-driven applications supporting wholesale underwriting, broking, and risk evaluation.
• Architect and oversee data workflows, pipelines, and APIs that connect enterprise systems and enhance operational efficiency.
• Partner with Acrisure's Palantir Center of Excellence to define standards for data governance, ontology management, and Foundry best practices.
• Drive adoption of Palantir capabilities (Foundry, AIP, Ontology, Code Workbooks) across engineering and product teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and underwriting leaders to translate business problems into scalable data and software solutions.
• Champion modern DevOps and CI / CD practices (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, etc.) to ensure reliable delivery and high-quality software.
• Manage team performance, career growth, and hiring to build a strong, high-performing engineering culture.
• Oversee proof-of-concepts and new platform capabilities in partnership with Acrisure Innovation's data and AI teams.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is $140,000 $200,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
