About the Role : The VP, Reinsurance Financial Risks - US & Canada Underwriting will be responsible for underwriting a diverse portfolio of national and regional accounts, driving profitable growth, and maintaining strong relationships with brokers and clients. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, market insight, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with Everest's underwriting standards and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwriting & Portfolio Management

Underwrite contract and commercial surety bonds for a cross-section of national and regional primary companies.

Collaborate with the SVP and existing surety team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Learn and apply departmental workflows, systems, and data processing procedures.

Serve as a mentor and resource to junior underwriters and support staff.

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

The base salary range for this position is $201,000 - $250,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications, and work location.
