Starting Wages $24-29 / hr (Contract-to-hire position)

Monday - Friday, every other Saturday 7 : 00pm - 3 : 30amJOB SUMMARY : Perform daily repairs of production equipment based on Work Order system and Preventative Maintenance program. Works closely with Production Group Leaders, Assistant Group Leaders, Setup-Technicians, Maintenance Technicians and the Associates to improve their knowledge of the equipment and understanding of each process. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Performs tasks as specified by the Preventative Maintenance System.
• Performs intermediate to advanced maintenance and troubleshooting repairs for the production equipment, as directed by Group Leader, Supervisor or Manager.
• Performs maintenance on building and facility grounds as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.
• Completes kaizen and safety related activities.
• Provides technical skills required for completing repairs and projects.
• Maintains P.M. and machine history documentation. (Work orders).
• Assists with leading TPM events.
• Creates and maintains TPM check sheets for the production equipment.
• Continually trains and educates the Production Group Leaders, Line Leaders, Setup and Maintenance Technicians and Associates with more advanced technical skills.
• Actively participates in continuous improvement activities.
• Maintains good communications between Maintenance, Production, Engineering and Management.
• Operates and maintains certification for driving forklift trucks and cranes.

Skills / Experience : QUALIFICATIONS : (TRAINING, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION)

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS :

Ability to stand for long periods of time; Ability to maneuver around the Plant; repeatedly bend, squat, move both arms above the head, and move head straight up and down and side to side; Good hand strength, good finger dexterity, repeatedly able to grasp small and large objects and ability to rotate wrists, arms, and shoulders; Good eyesight and hearing; and Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs.

Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with several potential workplace hazards. All safety rules, regulations and precautions are to be implemented when working around machines and chemicals to keep employees and others safe.
