We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team in Canton, Massachusetts. Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review individual and corporate tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation and provide guidance on tax-related matters.
- Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks and Pro Series, to streamline tax preparation processes.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to provide informed advice and planning strategies.
- Assist in the resolution of tax-related issues and respond to inquiries from clients or government agencies.
- Support the team in managing deadlines and prioritizing tasks during peak tax seasons.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of tax preparation workflows and processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of client information at all times.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public tax accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and other relevant accounting software.
- Experience with individual and corporate tax return preparation.
- Active CPA license or CPA candidate status is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
