Senior Production Manager, Direct Marketing

About the Role
Continuum is hiring a Senior Production Manager with expertise in direct marketing tactics. This role will work with Marketing leadership to lead the execution of member communications, acquisition, and retention campaigns that drive revenue for a client in the travel and hospitality industry. You will develop and manage production calendars, vendor relationships, postal optimization, testing, and data delivery, while reporting on measurable results and pre-determined KPIs.
This role combines hands-on print production expertise with optimization thought leadership and disciplined budget management to ensure operational excellence. You will collaborate with the client's Marketing, Member Services, Creative teams, and supplier partners to deliver accurate, on-time, and effective campaigns.

What You'll Do
Partner with internal teams, client stakeholders, and vendors to deliver campaigns on time and on budget.Assist in campaign execution planning and inventory forecasting.Coordinate with warehouse and fulfillment teams on inventory, kitting, and timelines.Manage the secure data delivery processes between marketing and chosen suppliers.Source, negotiate, and manage vendors, ensuring quality and SLAs.Review and evaluate print production proofs for accurate color, print quality, and adherence to brand standards.Improve production processes, including proofs, press checks, and QC.Optimize postage and logistics, leveraging USPS promotions and tracking strategies.Supports A / B and multivariate testing, and leverages metrics to make actionable optimization recommendations.Manages production budgets, POs, invoices, and compliance documentation.Qualifications
7+ years in Direct Mail production with leadership exposure in agency, client, or matrixed settings.Advanced print production knowledge (pre-press, press, finishing) and vendor negotiation skills.Basic understanding of color theory and print production processes (G7 knowledge a plus).Familiarity with proofing devices (e.g., Epson inkjet proofers) and color management concepts.Deep understanding of direct marketing technology systems and tactics.Experience in personalization techniques and customer preference variability.Working knowledge of variable data marketing strategies.Fluency with data warehouse systems and output requirements.Direct-response testing and analytics expertise.Postal fluency, including USPS regulations, promotions, and data privacy requirements.Advanced Excel skills with experience in budgets, forecasts, and performance readouts.Demonstrated success working with clients that have legacy processes and data elements, must be comfortable digging in, navigating complexities, and making recommendations to optimize.Bonus : Travel / exchange or subscription experience; familiarity with marketing tech stacks.Work Style
