About the POSITION:
General Dentist needed for FQHC in Jackson, MS
M - F 8-5
No Weekends
Will work with 4 other Dentists and support staff
General Dentistry for patients of all ages

About the COMP & BENEFITS:
Excellent base compensation
Loan Repayment through NHSC
Accrued paid vacation up to (20) days per year. Annual vacation shall be governed by personnel policies and procedures in effect at the time of the request.
A maximum of five (5) business days of education leave in conjunction with continuing education per contract year.
Payment of authorized continuing education expenses up to $2500 per contract year. Authorized expenses include registration fees, travel expenses including transportation, lodging, and meals. All such leave and expenses must be approved by CENTER prior to being taken or incurred by Physician. All request must be provided to the CEO’s office at least 2 weeks prior to the time being requested. It is the provider’s responsibility to ensure that the request has been received and approved. This benefit must be used during the contract year and may not be carried over from one year to the next. This entire benefit is forfeited without compensation of any type upon termination. Approval for continuing education will not be granted if you have 100 or more unlocked notes 6 weeks before the requested leave.

Holidays are delineated in the Personnel Policy Manual. Holidays are extended to the Physician with the understanding that Physician may be required to share the holiday call schedule equally with other staff providers. In the event the Physician is on call on a holiday, and a hospital visit is required, the Physician shall receive 1 (one) day of Compensatory Time in exchange for 1 (one) day of holiday leave not to exceed 5 Compensatory days per contract year.
Sick leave as provided for in the Personnel Policy Manual. Current sick leave is accrued at 3.76 hours per pay period.
Profit sharing plan after 1 year of employment
DEA license fee
Professional association membership fee not to exceed $300 per annum.
Mississippi State Dental License fee
