SubArc Welder - Days

Responsibilities

• Operates manual or semi-automatic welding equipment (SAW, MIG, FCAW, SMAW) to fuse metal segments.
• Determines appropriate welding method based on project requirements.
• Sets up components for welding according to specifications, including cutting material with powered saws.
• Welds components in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Repairs pipe and other products by filling gaps and repairing flaws identified by quality control in the Pipe Repair Station.
• Maintains equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety, keeping the work area clean and orderly.
• Prepares the proper equipment for welding and cleans inside the pipe before welding.
