Who are we? Above and Beyond Family Recovery Center is a Level I-II Outpatient provider
formed in 2016 to address the need for innovative, evidence-based, holistic substance use
disorder (SUD) treatment on the West Side of Chicago. The mission was and is to make the best,
most comprehensive care available and free to those who demonstrate the most need. We serve
the homeless, displaced, psychologically injured, and formerly incarcerated who are welcomed
with love and lack of judgment. AnB was recently recognized with the 2023 Excellence in
Mental Health Award by the Illinois Association for Behavioral Health and we are also
accredited by the Joint Commission of Behavioral Health. You will be joining a recipient of

proposal writing, grant compliance and administration, and program evaluation at an innovative

Reporting to the Director of Grants and Program Development, your responsibilities include :
- Leveraging grant opportunities to align with an existing organizational grant pipeline
- Create realistic program budgets in line with foundation and / or government entity values, expectations and priorities
- Analyzing data and research to create compelling need statements
- Collaborating across programs and departments to evaluate fiscal and programmatic needs
- Communicating grant proposals that follow clear and impactful logic models to meet a variety of audiences in the world of philanthropy.
- After some time in the role, you can assist the Director of Grants with tasks related to compliance and evaluation for programs funded at the local, state and federal level.
