The electrician has advanced knowledge of various electrical techniques and is responsible for the layout, installation, repairing, and maintenance of various structures and fixtures in residential buildings. This role will install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Ability to complete redline drawings.
• Take measurements and calculate the size and amount of material needed.
• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Inspect electrical components and circuit breakers.
• Identify electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
• Repair or replace wiring, equipment, or fixtures using hand / power tools.
• Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electrical Code and NFPA 70E.
• Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.
• Ability to bend and install EMT Conduit.
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures.
• LOTO adherence.
• Other duties as needed.

This is a fully on-site role at the project location(s). Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, and frequently lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Regularly required to crouch and reach to install / move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine. Involves movement between floors, and properties to facilitate work. Ability to pass a background check and gain access to military installations.
