The Therapist Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that clinical activity meets agency standards; program personnel follow agency policy; performance standards for clinical accountability are adhered to; relevant activities within and outside Team Recovery have program participation. This position collaborates with the senior leadership team to create a culture of "best practices" to ensure appropriate and the highest standard of care is provided in the safest environment. This position is responsible for the clinical management of the therapy and crisis services programs, maintaining fidelity to Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment and other culturally relevant evidence-based practices.
Education Requirements : Master's degree in psychology, social work, or human services required
License Requirements :
- Required : LPCC or LISW,
- Preferred : LISW-S or LPCC-S
- CPR, BLS, or ALS Certification- will train upon hire
- Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, be 21 years or older, and be deemed insurable through Team Recovery's insurance carrier.
Required Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in mental health treatment, substance use disorder, or related social services.At least 3 years of supervisory experience in mental health, substance use disorder, or dual diagnosis program, with demonstrated skills in training, coaching, and mentoring multidisciplinary staff.Preferred Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Performance Improvement and familiarity with CARF Accreditation Standards.3–5 years of progressive experience in healthcare administration or a clinical environment.Experience managing multi-site or statewide systems.Experience leading or contributing to operational turnaround projects.Experience in therapy and crisis management for co-occurring disorders, with knowledge of wellness, recovery, and integration strategies.Familiarity with state and federal requirements regarding client confidentiality and handling of sensitive information.Experience working with community-based services and maintaining compliance with clinical and utilization requirements of multiple contracts.Skills and Competencies

Clinical Leadership
Drive clinical excellence across the organization by implementing innovative, evidence-based treatment practices aligned with the agency's clinical brand.Ensure timely, consistent, and high-quality clinical documentation to support measurable clinical outcomes.Monitor and enforce adherence to regulatory and clinical standards, quality assurance efforts, and contractual reporting requirements.Lead and oversee clinical supervision, training, and continuing education for staff.Provide group clinical supervision, including facilitation of critical incident reviews and staff debriefings.Maintain a direct clinical role, including group therapy coverage and an individual therapy caseload.Serve as a crisis consultation resource as needed.Develop and implement new treatment models and behavioral health approaches to maintain cutting-edge care.Program Oversight
Provide overall clinical and programmatic oversight to ensure consistency and continuity in service delivery.Establish and implement a strategic vision at the treatment services level.Design, evaluate, and modify programs to ensure effectiveness, integrity, and compliance with accrediting and regulatory bodies.Monitor compliance with state licensing standards, HIPAA regulations, and agency-specific program operations.Initiate and manage programmatic changes based on feedback from weekly clinical team meetings with program managers.Ensure coordination of services within the agency and develop policies and procedures for efficient handling of clinical program functions.Participate in coordination, planning, and development meetings to maintain and update organization-wide policies and procedures.Assist with program development, ensuring compliance with policies related to risk management and funding mandates.Serve as a liaison with behavioral health departments, community agencies, and private practitioners.Staff Supervision & Development
