My client, a well-established and rapidly growing General Contractor based in Indiana , is seeking an experienced Director of Construction to lead their field operations across multiple commercial and multifamily projects throughout the region.

Youll play a key role in overseeing construction strategy, mentoring project teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and oversee all construction operations across commercial and multifamily developments.
- Manage and mentor Project Managers, Superintendents, and field teams , ensuring alignment with company goals and project objectives.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, and client relationships to ensure successful delivery and profitability.
- Collaborate with preconstruction and estimating teams to develop accurate cost models, schedules, and resource plans.
- Drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all active job sites.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and local partners to ensure long-term success and repeat business.
Requirements :
Minimum 10+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction.Proven leadership background managing large teams and multiple projects simultaneously.Strong knowledge of ground-up construction, preconstruction, and project delivery methods.Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.Ability to travel across Indiana as required for project oversight.Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (not essential).Why Join :
