Job Description :

Provides leadership and support to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) for all nursing and patient care functions.

Assists with assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice across multiple units.

Holds 24 / 7 responsibility for assigned departments or service areas.

Ensures high-quality, safe, and effective patient care while managing clinical staff competency and resource utilization.

Acts as a role model and advocate for professional nursing practice.

Responsibilities :

Must have an active RN license in the state of practice.

Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proven ability to manage hospital operations effectively.

Promotes teamwork and professional development among staff nurses.

Qualifications

Required : Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) + Bachelor's in a healthcare-related field OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Preferred : Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Master's in a healthcare-related field.

Experience : Required

Minimum 2 years of progressive management experience (as a Manager or Charge Nurse) in a hospital setting.

Minimum 2 years of psychiatric / behavioral health experience.

Certifications : Required :

Active RN license (state-specific).

CPR certification.
