We are looking for a motivated self-starter who is skilled in performing a multitude of maintenance functions in a team-oriented, world class production environment. Our workplace requires individuals who understand the needs of the business while maintaining a focus on safety, customer satisfaction, quality and productivity.
Starting pay for this role is $ 22.67 / hr. First shift hours are Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Assists with repairing a broad range of mechanical problems, preventative maintenance, general building maintenance and custodial work.
Fabricating skills is a must, machining and fabricating parts using drawings, sketches and prints by othersMaintains technical knowledge, by reading machine specifications and attending classes if neededAssist in the installation and removal of equipment, help determine changes needed in equipment driven by productionMust be able to perform preventative maintenance on wide range of equipment including Extruders, Laminators and Injection Molding Machines, as well as building maintenanceHelps design and build equipment and fixturesRead and interpret blueprints and schematic diagramsPerform die building and repair parts using all machine shop equipment including lathes and milsBasic Electrical skills requiredMust have basic maintenance toolsMust be dependable and able to work flexible schedulesPerform all other duties as assignedEDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six to twelve months related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred Experience Basic Electric Certification
