About the Role

iCapital is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, & experienced Business Development professional to join the Relationship Management team developing iCapitals enterprise presence in the US Asset Management Channel.

This team develops & manages relationships with iCapitals largest clients, & prospects, within the Asset Management & General Partner community.

This role is instrumental in growing our client base & expanding the companys presence. This individual is expected to drive the acquisition of new clients, while driving new business initiatives with existing clients.

This person is expected to analyze the market & develop strategies for new client acquisition, create & deliver compelling presentations, help negotiate contracts, & prioritize opportunities with existing clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify & drive new opportunities with prospects based on market analysis & execute using a consultative approach to client engagement.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries, vet opportunities, & respond appropriately.
  • Identify, prioritize, & drive new opportunities with our existing client base. This responsibility involves close alignment, & partnership, with our Client Management team & other specialists within our organization.
  • Highlight iCapitals fund creation & technology capabilities in one-on-one & group settings, including industry conferences.
  • Provide detailed pipeline updates & reports to be shared with company management, our Client Management teams & other interested internal ide detailed pipeline updates & reports to be shared with company management, our Client Management teams, & other interested internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate feedback from clients & prospects within the organization to improve delivery of solutions & the overall client experience & enhance competitiveness.
  • Lead platform & system demonstrations for new prospects, lead responses to RFPs, & work collaboratively with internal & external cross-functional teams on client launches & strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in a business development / relationship management capacity
  • 15+ years of experience working within financial services or the financial technology industry
  • Comprehensive understanding & experience at the intersection of Private Asset Management & Wealth Management
  • Command of the evolving private fund offering landscape including the expanding set of registered, evergreen private asset funds (across the different asset classes)
  • Able to deliver a complex & varied product set and / or a technology product offering to Enterprise clients
  • Strong experience & understanding of alternative investments
  • Strong track record of building & maintaining client relationships with key decision makers
  • Experience working in a dynamic & fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Demonstrated ability in organizing client coverage across product lines & client channels, achieving depth of penetration & consolidated support models
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Strategic mindset & able to work independently
  • Demonstrated client service skills with key stakeholders & clients
  • Series 7 & 63 licenses are preferred

Benefits

The base salary range for this role is $275,000 to $315,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, & an annual performance bonus.
