About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience required.

License : Must hold an active nursing license.

Certifications : BCLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred.

Must-Have :

• Orthopedic work experience required.
• Experience with IV start and telemetry is a must.

Description :

RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.

Any call-offs or additional RTO could possibly turn into a cancelation.

This unit requires nurses who can stay on top of pain management for orthopedic and spine patients.

The nurse to patient ratio is expected to be 5-6 : 1 and can flex up to 7 : 1 in extreme cases.

Travelers may be required to float to other medical-surgical units within the facility based on staffing needs.

Every other weekend commitment is required.

Nurses must be customer service-oriented.

Candidates must pass EKG testing prior to starting.

No holiday RTO can be approved.

This is a fast-paced unit with an average daily census of 37.

Additional preferred skills include charge nurse experience and Level I trauma experience.
