The Role :

The Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, creating purchase orders, managing delivery transportation, and analyzing trends to identify opportunities of profitability improvement. A strong candidate demonstrates an eagerness to learn, curiosity, and attention to detail.

What A Day In The Life Is Like :

• Source materials for service and sales operations
• Work with sales reps to understand vendor order requirements - place orders accordingly
• Create purchase and drop ship orders
• Coordinate logistics to achieve delivery date requirements
• Work with operations and accounting teams to define, write, and maintain standard operating procedures related to purchasing, supply chain, and inventory functions
• Data analysis related to inventory and material trends
• Work with vendors to resolve conflicts relating to products including returns and warranty submissions

Hours : 8 : 30am - 5 : 00pm Monday-Friday (some flexibility needed)
