Responsibilities Work in a pediatric cardiac intensive care and acute care setting Floats as needed between PICU, PCICU, and acute care units 8-bed unit within a 128-bed facility Patient population includes pediatric cardiac, medical, surgical, and trauma patients from neonate to 21 years Nurse to patient ratios : ICU 1 : 1-2, Acute 1 : 4 Works 12-hour night shifts from 7 : 00pm to 7 : 00am Scheduled to work two out of every three weekends in a six-week schedule No on-call requirements Required to work two winter and two summer holidays Uses Epic for documentation and charting Must be flexible and comfortable floating among acute care and intensive care units as assigned Responsibilities include caring for complex pediatric patients with medical, cardiac, surgical, and trauma needs Orientation held weekly on Mondays Some holiday coverage required Limited time off approved, with a maximum of 5-7 days and no full holiday time off requests allowed Requirements Active RN license from TN or Compact state required Current BLS and PALS certifications required Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Level I trauma facility Prior travel nursing experience is required Recent ICU, cardiac, and acute care experience within the last 2 years Epic EMR experience required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630116.
