Great new fulltime, onsite position in the Columbia, SC area for Manufacturing Engineer!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product and industry knowledge. You will work in a team-oriented environment that troubleshoots and develops new ideas for automated machine improvement.
The goal of this position will be to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes to drive down scrap, increase production efficiency, and improve product quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related Engineering field)
- 3+ years of overall experience
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
- Proven experience with hands-on support and troubleshooting manufacturing issues
- Ability to design and implement creative solutions for manufacturing challenges
- Leadership experience in driving operational excellence, leading continuous improvement initiatives, utilizing Lean Kaizen methodologies
- SolidWorks software experience preferred
