Job Title : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location : DeMay Living Center

Hours Per Week : 40 hr / week

Schedule : Nights, 11pm-7 : 30am, Monday - Friday, every other weekend and holidays

Sign-On Bonus : up to $4500

SUMMARY As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized, high-quality care to residents. Collaborating closely with the nursing team, your proactive approach and dedication to patient well-being will be essential for our collective success.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Patient Care & Service : Assist residents with daily activities according to individualized care plans; transport residents to and from activities; provide emotional support to residents and their families.

Safety : Ensure a clean and safe environment for residents.

Communication & Documentation : Foster clear communication with families and direct them to appropriate staff; respond promptly to resident requests; efficiently relay information during team handovers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Minimum age requirement : 18

Currently certified in New York State as a Certified Nursing Assistant

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Excellent customer service and communication skills

High School diploma or equivalent

EDUCATION :

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing, or squatting.
