WriterCoach Connection is hiring : Volunteer Writing Coaches Needed at Elmhurst U

Join WriterCoach Connection (WCC) and make a difference as a volunteer writing coach!

WCC brings teams of trained volunteers into East Bay middle schools to provide one-on-one support, helping students develop their writing and critical thinking skills. We're currently recruiting volunteers for King Middle School in Berkeley - and we would love to have you on board.

As A WriterCoach, You Will :

• Work one-on-one or with small groups of middle school students
• Help students build confidence in their writing assignments
• Meet with students once a week for 10-12 weeks, in person, on campus

Our comprehensive training provides everything you need to be a great coach. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds - working professionals, retirees, parents, grandparents, college students, and community members. You only need to be at least 18 or older and eager to make a difference.
