Responsibilities :
- Leadership and Mentorship : Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, fostering an environment of growth and collaboration while actively engaging in technical tasks and leveraging cutting-edge technologies.
- Technical Expertise : Spearhead the installation, configuration, and maintenance of state-of-the-art hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Strategic Planning : Develop and execute innovative IT strategies that leverage emerging technologies, such as AI and IoT, to drive digital transformation and achieve organizational objectives.
- Data Security and Compliance : Implement robust cybersecurity measures, including encryption and multi-factor authentication, to safeguard sensitive data and ensure compliance with stringent regulatory requirements.
- Technology Evaluation and Implementation : Lead the evaluation and adoption of disruptive technologies, such as blockchain and edge computing, to enhance operational efficiency and gain a competitive edge in the market.
- Resource Management : Optimize IT budgets and resources through strategic allocation and procurement decisions, leveraging cloud computing and containerization technologies to maximize cost-effectiveness and scalability.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate IT solutions seamlessly into business processes, leveraging DevOps methodologies and agile frameworks to accelerate innovation and time-to-market.
- Risk Management : Proactively identify and mitigate IT risks through comprehensive risk assessments and the implementation of robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans, utilizing predictive analytics and machine learning algorithms for proactive risk management.
- Regulatory Compliance : Ensure strict adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices, such as GDPR and ISO 27001, through continuous monitoring and compliance audits, leveraging advanced compliance automation tools and frameworks.
Experience & Required Skills :
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT Operations, with a strong command of leading-edge technologies and best practices in IT management.
- 2+ years of proven leadership experience in an IT department, demonstrating exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with cutting-edge technologies, including blockchain, edge computing, and quantum computing, is highly desirable.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects on time and within budget.
- Expertise in Microsoft Server 2019 / 2022, Azure, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, Fortinet switches, access points, firewalls, VMware, and virtual environments is essential.
Education & Certification :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (10+ years or more) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, PMP, or ITIL demonstrate a commitment to professional development and excellence in IT management.
