A DAY IN THE LIFE

We are looking for a highly motivated College Safety Intern / Co-op, who is passionate about the construction process to join our team. At ARCO, an Intern / Co-op has the opportunity to assist Safety Managers with the following :

Visit Jobsites and get hands on experience from our expert field personnel on projects in a variety of industries including distribution, office, foodservice, multi-family housing, entertainment and more.

Hone your safety skills working directly with an experienced Safety Manager on design / build construction projects clients including Fortune 500 companies, award winning commercial real estate developers and small business end users.

Make a meaningful contribution to ARCO's success by performing critical safety related tasks.

NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Grade Point Average of 3.0 out of 4.0.

Enrolled in Environmental Health and Safety programs, or other related degree programs.

Co-op or Intern construction experience preferred, but not required.

Excellent verbal communication skills and a strong work ethic.

Ability to travel nationwide to visit projects.

Possess and maintain a current, valid driver license in your state of residence
