Overview

Designer role at leading creator of textiles for interiors whose products are sold internationally. Responsible for design development across multiple product categories within an interdisciplinary design studio. Generates original artwork and innovative product while balancing the needs of the business and maintaining awareness of market trends.

Essential Functions

• Contributes to the Maharam Woven Upholstery category.
• Primary Designer for Maharam Privacy Curtain category.
• Uses creative and technical abilities to generate original textile designs for mass production.
• Guides products through the development process to completion and approval stage.
• Works with Product Management to stay current on product sales and consumer trends.
• Researches and analyzes the capabilities of manufacturing partners to inform sourcing decisions.
• Travel required as needed to visit tradeshows and resources.
• Keeps up to date on developments in international design and art to generate relevant product concepts.
• Collaborates with resources to develop leading-edge products that surpass industry standards.

A starting compensation range for this role is $80,000.00 - $88,000.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business / organizational needs and market factors. You may be eligible for geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive, and equity awards subject to program rules.
