Designer Job at PRTNR Recruiting in New York

Luxury womenswear brand in New York City is looking for an experienced ready to wear Designer to join its intimate and fast-paced team. This role will play a key role in shaping elegant, made-to-order items and bespoke womenswear collections that celebrate craftsmanship, heritage, and modern femininity. With a strong foundation in garment construction and a refined eye for detail, the ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in high-end fashion and a passion for both artistry and execution. Print and embellishment development experience is essential, along with a collaborative and communicative work style.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate closely with the Design Director and Atelier team to develop seasonal collections and one-of-a-kind pieces
• Lead surface design, textile development, and color story ideation
• Create and refine garment sketches and CADs
• Assist with fittings, technical design, and production revisions
• Support sample development and participate in hands-on studio work when necessary
• Liaise with local vendors, suppliers, and fabricators
• Ensure consistent execution of design vision through production
