We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Application Support Engineer to join our Production Support team. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL  – HYBRID.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways :

Strong Application Support Engineer with excellent skills in :

• 10+ years of diverse experience in information technology required.
• Exclusively worked UNIX / Linux operating systems
• Database knowledge with strong SQL skills like Oracle, Sql Server, etc
• Hands-on experience in scripting or programming languages like Python, Perl, Shell scripting, etc
• Experience understanding / analyzing securities data, handling market vendor pricing feeds, working in time-sensitive projects is highly desired
• Hands on experience with CI / CD tools such as GitLab
• Experience working with IBM MQ, ETL tools like Pentaho, Snowflake are preferred
• Monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Prometheus, Splunk, Cloud Probes & Moog or equivalent
• Experience automating deployments and other repetitive tasks
• Experience with support activities like platform administration, deployments, upgrades, and understands & troubleshoots issues when incidents are reported in the platform.
• Experience in external and internal cloud
• Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment.
• Proficiency in using the JIRA, Confluence
• Experience in vulnerabilities management.
• Ability to produce system documentation including operational specifications, test plans, system architecture with attention to detail
