Join our team as a Solar Electrician and play a pivotal role in installing and maintaining photovoltaic solar systems. Your expertise in electrical systems will ensure high-quality installations and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment as needed.
• Bend, thread, and install rigid type conduits ranging from " to 4".
• Read and interpret electrical single line diagrams and construction sets to identify the scope of work.
• Install the electrical portion of photovoltaic solar systems.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with current NEC and local codes and is of good workmanship.
• Run solar DC / AC circuits to array fields cleanly and professionally.
• Install backup battery systems and EV chargers.
• Perform residential service upgrades and repairs.
• Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues.
• Maintain high-quality control of tools, vehicles, and materials.
• Keep accurate records of materials used and document work orders for installations.
• Maintain compliance with all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA standards.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic outdoor environment that may involve exposure to varied weather conditions such as heat, cold, and noise. The role requires working on rooftops and in confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces, demanding physical activities such as bending, climbing, kneeling, and balancing.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00 / hr.
