EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

• Four or more years of engineering / technical schooling required. Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering / Technology degree.
• Less than one year of experience

ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION :

Under the general supervision and guidance of the Engineering Manager or senior engineer to whom assigned, perform a variety of functions in the development and / or improvement of production methods, processes, machines, equipment, tooling, and designs used in the manufacture of wire and cable products. Investigate and recommend areas for cost reduction. Perform computations and collect engineering data. Perform feasibility studies; prepare reports, summaries, and analyses; and handle other specific tasks as required.
