Overview :

We’re seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to support daily building and equipment maintenance at our Elmhurst facility. This position involves hands-on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, dependable, and enjoys keeping systems running efficiently in a safe, clean, and organized environment.

Responsibilities :

Perform preventive maintenance and repair on facility systems and equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical issues.

Assist with facility improvement and upgrade projects.

Maintain compliance with safety standards and ensure a clean workspace.

Collaborate with internal teams to address maintenance priorities.

Document maintenance work and communicate updates as needed.

Requirements :

2+ years of experience in facilities or maintenance technician roles within a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry systems.

Ability to read piping and wiring schematics preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Ability to multitask and work independently.

Positive attitude and sense of humor encouraged.
