What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities within the healthcare location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related incidents in accordance with Allied Universal protocols. Assist staff, patients, and visitors with security-related needs or questions as required. Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and / or site representatives regarding incidents or concerns encountered during patrols. Support access control procedures, including monitoring entrances and exits, as outlined by site-specific policies. Minimum Requirements : Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
