We are BANA LAW, PC a prominent, full-service Personal Injury law firm located in the heart of thriving Century City, Los Angeles. We seek a full-time, experienced LITIGATION PARALEGAL to join our growing team. You will work collaboratively with attorneys to help clients progress their cases and ultimately give them long-sought closure. The desired candidate will be able to assist during all phases of the litigation process.

Responsibilities Include :

• Propound and respond to discovery;
• Calendar and manage Court deadlines;
• Prepare documents for filing with the Court;
• Draft correspondence and regularly communicate with clients, experts and defense counsel in an effective and courteous manner;
• Maintain and update Filevine;
• Manage attorney calendar;
• Notice and schedule appointments, hearings, depositions, etc. with clients, court reporters / videographers, interpreters, etc.
• Assist in all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and trial support; and
• Prioritize and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Your Skills

At least 5+ years experience propounding and responding to discovery in personal injury litigation;

At least 5+ years experience calendaring court deadlines;

Knowledge of California Civil Procedure and Local Court Rules;

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;

Excellent time management skills, highly organized, and good at multi-tasking without compromising work integrity;

Detail oriented and self-starter, able to work independently;

Type at least 50 WPM;

Speaking Spanish fluently is a huge plus;

You should have a very thorough understanding of Personal Injury, both in the pre-litigation and litigation phases;

Relevant and applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, deadlines, court rules and procedures, practices, etc.;

Learn and pivot quickly to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment;

Strong written and communication skills;

Be dependable, reliable, trustworthy and motivated;

Extensive computer and database expertise (Filevine experience a plus); and

Paralegal associates degree or other relevant certification.

Salary : $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

Schedule :

8 hour shift, Monday through Friday
