What You'll Do : Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of staff and visitors within a financial institution environment. Conduct regular and random patrols both inside the location and around the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly as directed by Allied Universal and site management. Assist with access control procedures by monitoring entrances and exits as needed. Minimum Requirements : Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Must be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent. Must provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client. Must have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must possess a corrections officer license. Must possess a law enforcement officer license. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
