A Commercial Litigation Associate assists senior counsel in handling a variety of commercial litigation matters, including research, drafting legal documents, and preparing for court appearances, often with a focus on complex cases.

Pay Rate : $180 000-245 000
Our client is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join their growing litigation practice. They are looking for a highly motivated attorney with 3-5 years of experience who is eager to take on challenging, high-stakes litigation matters in a collaborative and supportive environment. This position is available in their Stamford, New Haven, or New York office locations.

Key Responsibilities :
As a Commercial Litigation Associate , you will play an integral role in a variety of complex disputes across multiple industries. Your responsibilities will include :
Managing all aspects of litigation from case inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial preparation, and appeals.
Representing clients in federal and state courts, arbitration proceedings, and administrative hearings.
Drafting persuasive motions and legal memoranda , including dispositive motions, discovery motions, and appellate briefs.
Taking and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
Conducting in-depth legal research and case analysis to develop litigation strategies.
Negotiating settlements and engaging in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) to achieve favorable client outcomes.
Interfacing directly with clients, in-house counsel, and opposing counsel to provide strategic litigation advice.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a talented litigator with a strong academic background and a passion for advocacy.
