Appeals Specialist

We are seeking a dynamic, organized, and self-motivated HR professional who thrives on detailed analysis, makes impartial decisions based on facts, and is passionate about supporting employees throughout their journey. In this role, you will ensure fair and consistent treatment of employees during the appeals process, focusing on delivering a positive experience at every step.

What You'll Do :

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of employee experience.
• Investigate information from various sources, including policy, past applications, and employee statements, to reach fair and consistent outcomes.
• Analyze data from internal systems and recommend corrective actions based on findings.
• Independently manage casework, ensuring timely and definitive resolution.
• Review case data to identify trends, mitigate risks proactively, and recommend policy improvements.
• Provide recommendations to address systemic issues.
• Build trust with employees and deliver an exceptional experience.
• Manage challenging conversations across multiple organizational levels.
• Respond promptly and accurately to employee inquiries while maintaining complete and accurate documentation.

Work Environment :

Operations and distribution run 24 / 7, so full shift flexibilityincluding holidays, nights, and weekendsis required. Training Schedule : MondayFriday, 6 : 00 AM 2 : 30 PM PST for 3 weeks during onboarding. Shift Options (All times PST) :

This is a Contract position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $27.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
