Maintenance Technician

This is the beginning level. Will perform the following listed duties and responsibilities, may have independence on some duties while close supervision on others. The employee works in a learning capacity performing a range of maintenance / mechanic duties while receiving close supervision. Duties include but are not limited to set-ups, bearings and minor machine repairs, some electrical (photo eyes / solenoids / etc.). Also has knowledge of greasing, lubing, cleaning, basic plumbing and carpentry, and able to do general building maintenance.

Education and / or Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Facilities experience is preferred
• Possession of forklift operation certification
