Electrical Helper
Now Hiring Electrical Helper / Apprentices ($15-$18 / hr)
Job Description
Join us as an Electrical Helper and assist our journeyman with their day-to-day duties. Your tasks will include running conduit, bending conduit, running / pulling cable, hanging boxes, and hanging fixtures on commercial projects.
On residential and multi-family projects, you will be running romex cable. Knowledge on how to use hand and power tools correctly is essential.
Although no specific electrical experience is required, we are looking for candidates who are eager to learn the trade, committed to learning / shadowing / training, willing to go to school for the trade, and eventually test out within the field.
Reading a tape measure accurately is a must.

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in NA, Iowa.
Work Environment
Our work hours are 7am - 3 : 30pm from Monday to Friday with occasional optional work on Saturdays. We value work-life balance and do not push for overtime.
Our dress code requires jeans with no holes, a professional tee shirt, and work boots (don't have to be steel toed, but cannot be tennis shoes).
No cut-off shirts or shorts are allowed. We provide all necessary PPE (high vis vest, hard hat, glasses, gloves). You will need to supply your own tools on day one, with a cost of $108 at Menards.
Within the first two weeks, you will also need to purchase a drill and / or impact driver (Milwaukee recommended).
