Step Into a Day That Keeps Quality Moving
By 8 : 30 a.m., you’ve organized the day’s engineering drawings, checked the calibration report queue, and prepared a draft shipper package that ensures outgoing product meets every requirement. You’re the operational backbone for our Quality team—supporting the Quality Assurance Director, coordinating document control, and making sure the right information reaches the right people at the right time.
What You’ll Handle
- Create and assemble shipment documentation packages and detailed quality reports to accompany product deliveries.
- Curate and control central engineering drawings and master quality records within established repositories.
- Issue, track, and recall controlled documents and drawings to internal stakeholders as needed.
- Support Quality Control activities and record corrective action data in the appropriate systems.
- Maintain certifications and QMS documentation to sustain audit readiness.
- Compile monthly calibration metrics; initiate and track requisitions for calibration and equipment service.
- Participate in, and help advance, continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Purchasing, Production, and Receiving to keep workflows aligned.
What You Bring
3–5 years of administrative experience in a quality or manufacturing environment (or equivalent).High school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience).Familiarity with ISO 9000 and aerospace quality codes is a strong plus.Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.Self-directed work style with strong teamwork and collaboration skills.Clear, professional communication and respect for diverse perspectives.Work Setting & Physical Expectations
Office-based role with a standard computer setup (dual monitors).Approximately 75% of time spent seated, performing data entry and documentation tasks.Occasional lifting of light items (5–10 lbs) and moving materials via carts.Possible occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, chemicals, or airborne particles—strict safety procedures apply.Why This Role
