About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

License : New York license required

Certifications : ARDMS, BLS

Must-Have :

Community hospital experience required

Call required every third day after 6 PM and every third weekend

Patient diagnoses include basic ultrasound procedures like OB, abdominal, DVT, carotids, and breast

Scanning pediatric to adult patients, with common invasive procedures including thoracentesis and paracentesis

Description :

Unit accepts first-time travelers.

Candidates must have at least one year of experience.

Outpatient work setting experience is required.

Biopsy experience is preferred.

Familiarity with various ultrasound procedures is necessary.

Candidates must float as needed.

Candidates will have charting experience in a required system.

Background policies will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Modules may be required and are not billable.
