Role and Team

Reporting to the designated manager, assist with the daily operational functions of one or more departments including Dealer Consignment, Commercial Accounts, or Retail Accounts. Support vehicle flow, reconditioning coordination, and customer service to ensure smooth auction operations and compliance with all contractual agreements.

Pay Range : $21 Hourly

Schedule : Monday - Friday 8am - 4 : 30pm

Responsibilities

  • Perform duties in compliance with all contractual customer, contractor, and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure inventory is organized and in the proper lot areas; track missing units and assist with periodic physical inventories.
  • Support Vehicle Inspectors in generating, approving, and entering work orders for Mechanical, Body, and Detail Shops. Verify completed repairs and submitted charges.
  • Verify vehicle announcements and reports are accurate prior to sale.
  • Determine which vehicles require outside vendor services (e.g., PDR, glass).
  • Write and coordinate repair orders with the appropriate shops.
  • Inspect and photograph vehicles for internet sales listings.
  • Number vehicles for sale and assist with lane preparation.
  • Represent vehicles on the auction block and assist sales representatives as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between the auction and designated customer accounts.
  • Determine certifications and grading for vehicles.
  • Recommend mechanical and body shop repairs based on account criteria and revenue potential.
  • Walk inventory and sale lanes with customer representatives to assess repair quality and ensure recon standards are met.
  • Communicate with customers regarding post-sale inspections or arbitration results.
  • Ensure arbitrated units are restocked into inventory and announced accurately.
  • Support the Manager in monitoring compliance with customer and vendor agreements in coordination with accounting.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the General Manager or designated manager.

  • Qualifications

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must have the ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools.
