As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a major retail location, you will actively monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for all. You will be a visible presence, providing excellent customer service and clear communication while responding to situations as they arise. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license. Mon 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Tue 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

Sun 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service by following Allied Universal security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a retail environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action when necessary.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas to help maintain a secure environment for customers and employees.

Assist visitors and employees with security-related inquiries and provide directions as needed.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to site management and / or Allied Universal supervisory staff.

Support emergency response activities according to site protocols and Allied Universal training.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
